He became a consultant after having worked a decade as a solicitor in Clayton Utz’s construction team in Melbourne and then as a Senior Associate in Allen & Overy LLP’s project finance team in Paris.

Stéphane specialises in energy, resources, mining and infrastructure project structuring, development and construction and has represented developers, sponsors, contractors and lenders. He specialises in commercial agreements, such as EPC, power purchase, tolling, O&M and fuel supply arrangements, and provides commercial strategic advice including in the context of non- or limited-recourse financing.

Stéphane has significant projects experience internationally including in Australia, France and in emerging markets, with a focus more particularly on Africa.

Stéphane is fully bilingual in English and French, and speaks conversational Japanese.

She has over 18 years of experience. Li Lin has worked in the energy industry for the past 13 years specialising in power generation, energy trading, renewables, carbon, wholesale and retail electricity and gas. At EnergyAustralia, she worked across a diversified portfolio of power generation assets and energy retail business in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory with a strong focus on energy transition to sustainable, lower carbon investments and emerging technologies. Prior to EnergyAustralia, Li Lin worked at Herbert Smith Freehills specialising in the development, acquisition and financing of energy, resources and infrastructure projects in Asia Pacific, United Kingdom and South America.

Li Lin’s experience extends to construction, mergers and acquisitions, corporate advisory and restructuring, property, planning and environment, workplace health and safety, government and stakeholder management, corporate governance, land and natural resource management and dispute resolution.

Natalia Wise worked as a solicitor in Sydney before joining Clifford Chance LLP’s finance team in London. She has significant in-house experience from a lengthy secondment to Barclays Capital, as Corporate Counsel for Rio Tinto Projects, as Senior Legal Consultant for enfraLEX and Consultant Legal Counsel to Algeco Scotsman and Modulaire Group.

Natalia specialises in finance, commercial and corporate matters with a focus on emerging markets. In her finance work she has represented major financial institutions, export credit agencies and state owned and EU financial institutions and has extensive experience in complex finance and security documentation. More recently, she has focussed on corporate and commercial agreements, general corporate advice and project management in construction, energy, mining and infrastructure projects.

Through her in-house roles, Natalia has gained extensive experience in dealing with various levels of corporate, credit and investment committees, joint venture relationships and government relations as well as overall commercial strategic advice.
